Disney has announced details of the special features that will be included in the Blu-ray, DVD and digital releases of its hit film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical Into the Woods, which will arrive on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD March 24.The Blu-ray and select digital releases will include “She’ll Be Back,” a song penned by Sondheim for Streep to perform as The Witch in the film. Also promised are the following bonus features, with details below:

As you might have noticed, lots of additional pictures from the Academy Awards’ red carpet and show have been added to the image library throughout the day. Also, a video compilation of Meryl’s moments – and you can call her shout-out to Patricia Arquette’s speech a “Meryl moment” have been added to the video archive. Besides the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category, the video also includes the In Memoriam segment which Meryl introduced, and which was played to the haunting theme of “Sophie’s Choice”. Additionally, screencaptures from the ceremony have been added as well. That’s a wrap for this year’s Oscar coverage, so check out the new additions and enjoy the video.
Coverage on this year’s Critics Choice Movie Awards falls flat because Meryl wasn’t there and didn’t win (and since the show has been said to be worste than last year in terms, it’s not a big loss). However, I’ve added the Best Supporting Actress segment to the video archive for archival reasons :-) Then, two new featurettes for “Into the Woods” have been posted as well as the London press confernece for the film.

A video with all memorable bits, including the Best Supporting Actress segment and the Best Picture presentation, has been added to the video archive. Screencaptures can be found in the image library. Also, a great batch of new pictures have been added as well, featuring Meryl with Amy Adams and Helen Mirren, with many thanks to Lindsey and Claudia.
Meryl Streep, Mark Ruffalo and James McAvoy have attended “The Graham Norton Show” in a taped appearance that aired yesterday night in the United Kingdom. Fresh off the London premiere for “Into the Woods”, Meryl talked about the film, some often-told stories (her “King Kong” audition) and shared a funny story on her first Golden Globe appearance in 1980. This was a surprise to hear as I was certain she hasn’t attended the ceremony until 1989 (hence the lack of pictures from any previous appearances), but maybe her story gives a good explanation why she didn’t want to have her picture taken back in 1980. The full appearance has been added to the video archive. It’s split in two parts due to its length, the second part can be watched here. Additionally, screencaptures from the show have been added as well.
Both the “Into the Woods” London photocall and premiere albums have been updated with hundreds of additional pictures, with many thanks to Claudia for her contributions. There are also additional making of screencaptures and a wonderful new on-set picture from “Into the Woods”. Screencaptures from the BBC Breakfast interview and the various Golden Globe interviews have been added as well. As always, check the full list below the previews.
Lots of new video clips have been added to the archive, all being released over the past days to promote “Into the Woods” in the United Kingdom. There’s a new promotional interview, tv reports on Lorraine and BBC Breakfast and a new featurette entitled “The Magic of the Woods”. And you gotta love Entertainment Tonight for digging through their archives and screening some vintage interviews with Meryl at various Golden Globe ceremonies. In case you’ve ever wondered if Mary Hart’s remark on Meryl whipping out a flask was true, they got their proof – just watch her interview at the red carpet at the 2000 Golden Globe Awards. For a complete list of newly added videos, check the list below the previews.
The stars have arrived for the London premiere of “Into the Woods”. The first pictures have been added to the image library. Both the premiere and photocall albums will be further updated with additions over the evening, so make sure to refresh those gallery pages. Edit: Lots of additional pictures have been added.
With so many promotional featurettes for “Into the Woods” being published lately, I’ve capped Meryl’s interviews, on-set and film moments from all and combined them in the image library. All featurettes can be found in the video archive, with two new – Costumes of the Woods and Designing the Woods – being added as well.
The video archive has been updated as well, with a bunch of new featurettes on “Into the Woods”, including a new scene and additional television spots. There’s also a video from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in which Meryl reveals her favorite movie as well as her speech at the Kennedy Center Honors. Screencaptures from the Kennedy Center Honors have been added as well, alongside a couple of “Into the Woods” additions.
