Two new video clips from 1997 have been added to the archives. First, a video of Meryl Streep hosting a series of portraits for the Womens Commission for Refugee Women and Children. The second video is a television trailer for “First Do No Harm”, which aired on ABC in 1997. Enjoy.

It’s been very quite about Meryl these days, so not many things to update. However, I did bring the movie albums in order, ranging from 1998 to 2002. All pictures have been sorted and replaced in better quality, and additional pictures have been uploaded as well. Three of Meryl’s stage productions have been updated in the image library. Most of the images have been replaced with better resolution images and some great additions have been made as well. There are rehearsal pictures from Meryl’s time at the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center (who has honored Meryl with their Monte Christo Award this week), pictures from the Public Theater’s 1979 production of “Taken in Marriage”, as well as some stunning new pictures from the Shakespeare in the Park production of “Taming of the Shrew”. The movie stills have been reorganized in the image library (many have been replaced with better quality pictures) and some nice additions have been made as well. Updates range from films between “Julia” to “Falling in Love”. Since almost everything has been updated, simply browse the albums for everything new, or click one of the previews below.
Some great pictures from three of Meryl’s theatre productions have been added to the image library. First, two great pictures from Meryl’s professional stage debut in “Trelawny of the Wells” at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre in 1975. Then, there’s the Public Theater’s 1977 production of Brecht’s “Happy End”, which starred Meryl and Christopher Lloyd. The third production is Elisabeth Swados’ “Alice in Concert”, which premiered at the NY Shakespeare Festival. Over 100 production stills and promotional pictures, featuring Streep, Swados and Joe Papp, have been added as well.
