From the Yale Daily News, February 28, 1974: The monk Savonarola (Walt Jones), nervously eyes the vial of poison prepared by Lucretia Borgia (Meryl Streep) in the stage premier of Max Beerbohm’s Shakespeare parody “Savonarola Brown”. Directed by Steve Lawson, the show will run at the Yale cabaret this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 10:30 serving.
