Meryl has been mentioned with a nomination for the Golden Globe as Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television for her work in “Angels in America”. She shares the category with Judy Davis (The Reagans), Jessica Lange (Normal), Helen Mirren (The Romance of Mrs. Stone) and Maggie Smith (My House in Umbria). “Angels in America” received 6 more nominations for Best Picture (Television), Al Pacino, Mary- Louise Parker and the supporting actors Ben Shenkman, Patrick Wilson and Jeffrey Wright. The Golden Globes are handed out on January 25, 2004
