Unfortunately, "A Prairie Home Companion" didn't win any of the Golden Bears at the Berlin Film Festival.
Nevertheless, the galleries are updated with more pictures from the Festival, thanks to all those

Beverly Hills, CA — Two-time Academy Award®-winning actress Meryl Streep will be a presenter at
the 78th Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producer Gil Cates announced today.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2005 will be presented on Sunday, March 5,
2006, at the Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC
Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. PST. A one-hour red carpet arrivals show will precede

Meryl has been among the celebrity guests of Paramount Classics Screens "Neil Young: Heart of Gold.

The Academy of American Poets presents the 4th annual, Poetry & The Creative Mind, an evening
celebrating the role of poetry in American culture. Co-chaired by Meryl Streep, Rose Styron,
Jorie Graham, Agnes Gund and Minnie Driver. The evening features artists and public figures
reading their favorite poems. This year’s readers include Wynton Marsalis, Ed Harris, Wendy
Whelan, Mike Wallace, Julia Stiles, and others. Tickets start at $400. 6:30 pm at Alice Tully
