Earlier this week, Meryl’s latest film “Ricki and the Flash” has been released on DVD, Blu-Ray and on demand in the United States. If you haven’t seen it yet, or want to relive Jonathan Demme’s romantic comedy that co-stars Kevin Kline, Rick Springfield and Mamie Gummer, be sure to grab your copy. As you might have noticed, lots of additional pictures from the Academy Awards’ red carpet and show have been added to the image library throughout the day. Also, a video compilation of Meryl’s moments – and you can call her shout-out to Patricia Arquette’s speech a “Meryl moment” have been added to the video archive. Besides the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category, the video also includes the In Memoriam segment which Meryl introduced, and which was played to the haunting theme of “Sophie’s Choice”. Additionally, screencaptures from the ceremony have been added as well. That’s a wrap for this year’s Oscar coverage, so check out the new additions and enjoy the video.

Yesterday, Meryl has attended the 21th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards as a nominee for “Into the Woods”. As predicted, the Best Supporting Actress trophy went to Patricia Arquette. Unfortunately, there’s not much material to add from yesterday’s Golden Globe Awards. Meryl skipped the red carpet, lost the Best Supporting Actress award to Patricia Arquette and, besides some audience action with Margaret Cho, took the stage briefly at the end to present the Best Picture award to “Boyhood”. Pictures have been added to the image library with many thanks to Claudia. Additionally, pictures from Disney’s Pre-Golden Globe Party and more from the AFI Awards and the Graham Norton taping have been posted as well, with many thanks to Lindsey.

Here comes my favorite part of early film promotion – new video clips! A fourth scene, again from the Weston’s dinner table, has been posted by Yahoo Movies. And the Weinstein Company starts launching its official clips with the b-roll (unfortunately just a lot of getting in and out of cars) and Meryl’s interview on the film, her character and working with Julia Roberts, Margo Martindale and Benedict Cumberbatch. Enjoy the new clips. HD captures from the interview and the b-roll have been added to the image library as well.
