According to the Hollywood Reporter, Uma Thurman will emcee the 2014 Gotham Awards, it was announced Tuesday. The Oscar-nominated actress is just one of several stars set to appear at the independent film awards in New York on Dec. 1, traditionally seen as the start of Oscar season. Other stars set to take the stage next Monday, as presenters, include Patricia Arquette, Will Arnett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Heather Graham, Ethan Hawke, Scarlett Johansson, Catherine Keener, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Amy Schumer, Meryl Streep, Hilary Swank, Marisa Tomei and Miles Teller. The 2014 Gotham Awards, set to take place at Cipriani Wall Street, will honor actress Tilda Swinton, Foxcatcher director Bennett Miller and Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos with previously announced tributes.
